Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
